The Family Of Us Sailing Mourns The Joseph Chomyn Loss

It might have seemed like a relatively summer sea breeze that is straightforward on the Bay of Palma, but  two races contested today by the ten TP52s at the Puerto Portals 52 Super Series Sailing Week turned out hard to read. The truth that is hard to keep a high level of consistency in both races is probably best illustrated in the results of the super consistent Sled. This is the one who won the first race, but they ended at the tenth position in the second round as well as in those of the Luna Rossa, the Italian America’s Cup challengers. He finished in the ninth position in the first race and then in the second race turned out as the winner of the race.

In the two races that tool took the regatta towards its midpoint, the best races were the circuit leaders, Quantum Racing by Doug DeVos and Phoenix of Tina Plattner. Both of them scored the total of seven points in the Races 4 and 5. They were positioned first and second on the leaderboard of the event.

At Sail Melbourne International It Was An Extreme Day– Day 2

At Sail Melbourne International, it was on another day of extreme sailing. This was the second day of Olympic class racing. On the second day, higher temperatures and a hot breeze blow off on the land and did not allow the sailors to get cooled off and have any easy race on Port Phillip. On the second day of the event, a full day of racing was completed in almost all the classes with some gains and losses across the fleet.

Max Salminen, the 2017 Finn World Champion from Sweden said, speaking about the conditions in the port and said, “It was really hot today as the wind was coming from the land and then, when it started raining today it seems to me that I was hallucinating. For sailing, it was a tricky day, but also had big pressure systems doing a flip flop, which leads to lots of losses and of gains to sailors.”
